Alexander The Great, Napoleon, Mussolini And Hitler, All Suffered From Which Phobia?

Did you know that Alexander The Great, Napoleon, Mussolini And Hitler, All Suffered From The Same Phobia? Yes, it’s true. They all battled Ailurophobia, the Fear of Cats.

Ailurophobia (also spelled “elurophobia” or “aelurophobia”) is an extreme fear of cats, often regardless of the kind or domesticity of the animal. For the ailurophobic, the possibility of an encounter with a cat – such as planning to visit someone’s home for the first time without knowing if they have pets – can lead to symptoms. (A confrontation with an animal is not required, and even media exposure can trigger symptoms.)

Can you believe that such dominating personalities and a few evil men could also have an irrational fear of cats? It’s kind of mind-boggling when you think of it. Alexander The Great, Napoleon, Mussolini And Hitler, a quartet I would never want to hang out with.
