Usually, for the category of Product Placement Examples, we look one original image and then insert our product to make you laugh or think or maybe cringe because it’s not funny at all or you think it’s just stupid.

This week we cross combined our Delusions of Grandeur mish-mash of images with Product Placement.

It’s our reaction to the political climate in the United States of America and the unusual timing of President Trump’s dismissal of FBI Director James Comey.

In the below picture, Trump is holding the book The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ckhttps://massivephobia.com/product-placement-examples-the-subtle-art-of-not-giving-a-fuck-about-democracy-donald-trump. This picture can be viewed in many different ways as the premise of the book will help you think a little bit more clearly about what you’re choosing to find important in life and what you’re choosing to find unimportant.”

It’s our belief that President Trump finds it important to do whatever he wants and feels that democracy isn’t all that important. So that’s what he’s currently focused on and it helps him sleep better at night with less worry. Our tongue was firmly in our cheek on that one.

The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck About Democracy | Donald Trump

We loved the book The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. It’s an easy read and gives you some solid points to live your life by and it’s helped us weed out what we should worry about and what mountains we’re making out of mole hills. Especially the things that are beyond our control.

From the back cover: Manson makes the argument—backed by both academic research and well-timed poop jokes—that improving our lives hinges not on our ability to turn lemons into lemonade, but on learning to better stomach lemons. Human beings are flawed and limited—as he writes, “Not everybody can be extraordinary—there are winners and losers in society, and some of it is not fair or your fault.” Manson advises us to get to know our limitations and accept them. This, he says, is the real source of empowerment. Once we embrace our fears, faults, and uncertainties—once we stop running from and avoiding, and start confronting painful truths—we can begin to find the courage and confidence we desperately seek.

“In life, we have a limited amount of fucks to give. So you must choose your fucks wisely.” Manson brings a much-needed grab-you-by-the-shoulders moment of real-talk, filled with entertaining stories and profane, ruthless humor. This manifesto is a refreshing slap in the face for all of us so that we can start to lead more contented, grounded lives.

About The Author

Edward Ernest

Edward Ernest is pretty much the coolest guy that ever lived.......according to himself. He's one of the founders of Massivephobia.com and has zero respect from any of his colleagues. To the outside world, he's this very nice upstanding citizen, but behind closed doors he's one of the meanest people we know. Yes, he writes nice articles and gives good advice. It might even seem like he cares about you and wants to be your friend. But please, don't be fooled. We've seen him kick a dog a with a broken leg before and have heard him on the phone berating his grandmother for only giving him a $5 birthday gift. Be thankful he's not related to you.
