Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired | Day 30

Posted by Edward Ernest | Mar 30, 2017 | Body Image, PTSD, Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired | 0 |

I’m still thinking about possibly seeing a hypnotist about the PTSD, but kept myself busy for most of the day. You’ll notice that mFitbit steps are down but that’s because I actually did a lot of upper body strength training instead. Lifting weights and things don’t register like steps even though I’m still doing the work.

Excuses, right? Besides that, I ran for 1.75 km in about 9 minutes, which was pretty darn good. My birthday isn’t for another 3.5 weeks, but there’s a 5km race in 4 days, and I think I may be able to run in it, as long as my body has no aches and pains on the day.

That’s another thing. Aches and pains are now my daily life, and if I don’t stretch properly, I’ll be feeling it the next day for sure. Guess what? I rarely stretch effectively because I’m not that smart. Strike that. I was being mean to myself there. Look at me being proactive. I’ll rephrase. Sometimes I’m lazy. True story.

Back to the run. The only thing getting in my way will be the lingering effects of my bronchitis. If I think my lungs can handle the 5km in four days, I’ll do it, but I’ll be a game-time decision.

About The Author

Edward Ernest

Edward Ernest is pretty much the coolest guy that ever lived.......according to himself. He's one of the founders of and has zero respect from any of his colleagues. To the outside world, he's this very nice upstanding citizen, but behind closed doors he's one of the meanest people we know.Yes, he writes nice articles and gives good advice. It might even seem like he cares about you and wants to be your friend. But please, don't be fooled. We've seen him kick a dog a with a broken leg before and have heard him on the phone berating his grandmother for only giving him a $5 birthday gift.Be thankful he's not related to you.
