Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired | Day 33

It’s been awhile since I posted. I think four days between Day 32 and now Day 33. So obviously, I have all of these entries written in my journal and just transcribing. Life got in the way the past few days, but I’m back on track here and will attempt to do one every day or every other day from now on. Now I’ll get back to my regular journal notes and thanks for understanding.

Yesterday my Fitbit hated me. Today my Fitbit loves me. I walked 31,944 steps. That’s a shit load if you can count.

I walked with fury today. Everywhere and anything I could do to accomplish my steps. Elevator walks. Running in place while making photocopies. Even while waiting for my lunch, no one else could notice, but I was doing teeny tiny steps up and down. Anything!!

I take my steps too seriously.

When I got home, it didn’t stop there. I felt I needed to go on a run to test out my fitness/health if I was going to run the 5km race tomorrow night.

I pressed my run button down on my Fitbit and off I went. I ran at a comfortable pace but eventually had to stop due to my lungs just not being up for the task today. However, I did make it 2.76 km before I did put an end to the jog. I thought it was best to get the rest and to not hurt my legs just in case. I wanted fresh legs if I’m going to be at my best tomorrow. All in all, it was a positive in my books.

It felt good to get back out there and rip a mammoth day. It’s been a lot of stops and starts lately, so I feel happy that I’m back on track.

A little bit of a side note for all you people using a Fitbit and the different strategies one might have to get more steps or if you’re trying to lose weight. Tonight I ran for my dinner. I ordered food from a specific restaurant that was 2.76 km away, and I ran there. I thought that it was an interesting strategy if I was going to have food that might not be that great for me or very high in calories. I did plan on running back, but my body got in the way of that. Still, I’m going to use this strategy again.

That’s it for now. Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Edward Ernest is pretty much the coolest guy that ever lived.......according to himself. He's one of the founders of and has zero respect from any of his colleagues. To the outside world, he's this very nice upstanding citizen, but behind closed doors he's one of the meanest people we know.Yes, he writes nice articles and gives good advice. It might even seem like he cares about you and wants to be your friend. But please, don't be fooled. We've seen him kick a dog a with a broken leg before and have heard him on the phone berating his grandmother for only giving him a $5 birthday gift.Be thankful he's not related to you.
