Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired | Day 6
Today was a busy day. Let me rephrase. Today was a full day. Language makes all the difference, doesn’t it? It’s Saturday but I’m up early doing my 15 Push Ups and 25 Sit Up variations. My legs felt solid so I tried to recreate the magic from yesterday and everything almost co-operated. Towards the end of the run my legs told me to quit and I listened. According to my Fitbit, I ran 1.82 km and didn’t kick myself for not continuing. The old me might have.
Bad cliche coming ‘Live to fight another day’.
I don’t know if you’re like me, but I hate authority. Loathe it to the bone. This means I can’t stand personal trainers telling me what to do. No one tells me to buck it up and do 1 more rep or 1 more lap. They don’t know me. They don’t know my body. I’ve gone to numerous personal trainers and boot camp instructors and none of them have lasted. The problem? No one ever listened to me. If I say my body is done, it’s done. Why should I risk hurting myself because you put pressure on me to do so? All it’s going to do is make me hate you and not want to work out at all. To all of those that tried to push me further, I hate your faces with a passion and I wished nothing but the worst for you while you were getting on my case. Fuck you people. I’m doing it myself. On my terms. My way………. I went on a rant there and yeah…….. Angry much? 🙂
Back to the day. I went looking at new places to live and I made sure I walked everywhere. EVERYWHERE!!!!! Have you looked down below at my Fitbit stats for the day? Monstrous!!! I was the Forest Gump of walking. I walked the shit out of this day. I have no idea what that means but it sounded good. Fuck yeah!!!!
At night, I took a bath and went to sleep early again.
It’s confirmed……I am boring…….but I don’t care as I’m getting as healthy as all fuck. Again, I don’t know what this really means but it sounds wonderful. Doesn’t it?
