Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired | Day 9
Like yesterday, up at 6:45!! On the ground doing push ups and sit up variations……. Ran 2.3km with ease according to my Fitbit. And when I say with ease, I mean that my muscles weren’t tired at all by the end of it. I was shocked. This change was fast. It all seemed way to easy.
Here’s my negativity or pessimistic attitude getting in the way again. After I showered, I began walking to work down an alleyway. Croft St. Alley. Barely a car with artsy graffiti everywhere. I walked like I was the star of my own show. I imagined that this was The Truman Show and that I was constantly being watched. That for some reason this all wasn’t real or that this wasn’t my choice. Like I was being silently nudged from something, some place or some person that I couldn’t see. Like my strings were being pulled by a puppeteer. I stopped taking drugs but my imagination never needed drugs. My ability to go off in far reaching lands was always there. A coping mechanism of sorts. One of my great strengths but great weaknesses. Does this sound like you?
These thoughts didn’t seem healthy to me. So I caught my breath and delved deeper into my soul. I started to think about my worthiness. A deep part of me was still saying I was unworthy of good things happening to me and that part of me was wrong. DEAD WRONG! I needed to rewrite that part of my software. Besides the physical, this wiring issue also needed to be part of my goal. I didn’t know how I was going to do it yet but I’d know it when I found it………And until then…… I’d walk.
And I walked and I walked and I walked.
