Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired: Day 46

Do you know why I’m excited? Or was excited? Or still just feeling pretty damn good? Besides all my steps and progress, today I reintroduced one of my favorite food groups to my diet….. PIZZA!

Yes, Pizza is a food group and I know many of you out there will agree with me. How could I go the rest of my life without pizza? The answer is pretty simple. That’s just impossible. Why deny the greatest pleasure of my life? That pleasure being, ordering a delicious medium thin crust pizza with the crusts being extra crunchy and tasty, and devouring it almost whole in less than 10 minutes.

I needed a strategy on this and I came up with a brilliant plan, if I do say so myself. If I wanted to have pizza, I had to earn the motherfucker. So I called up a pizza place about 2.2km away, and ordered a thin crust, medium, cheese and sauce, multigrain pizza. Then……..I ran! Yup, I ran for my fucking pizza. In fact, I ran there pretty fucking fast. I got there in about 10 minutes and the pizza wasn’t even ready yet. That’s fucking fast. Then I walked in circles as I waited and my Fitbit was a big fan of me. If my Fitbit had hands, it would have jerked me off. That’s how happy it was with me today.

Once I got that pizza, I started to run home but I quickly realized that my pizza was going to get all messed up and it was in my best interest to walk. Anyway, the moral of the story here is this…..If you want Pizza, pick a place that’s far enough to burn some calories and close enough that your pizza is still warm by the time you get home by walking.

I burned almost half my Pizza calories just by running there and walking home and it made eating it that much more satisfying and guilt free.

Guilt free pizza, is there anything better? Maybe next week I should try a guilt free hamburger and french fries? When was the last time I had a guilt free hamburger with french fries? NEVER! I can already taste them.

This is a slippery slope. I know eventually I’ll get lazy and just order delivery. UGH! There’s my negativity again. Alright. Nighty Night for my Debbie Downer self before it gets even worse.
