Oh what a day this was. Bright and early I got a phone call from the realtor, and my offer for the apartment was accepted. I was in heaven!

In honor of the big day, I decided to break my morning routine of health and had some pancakes. Pretty much I had cake for breakfast as that’s what pancakes really are. Glorified breakfast cake. And they were delicious!

I got outside and did a 2.5 km run too. I hadn’t done a big run in awhile, and the news really got me pumped up. I could see my end date in sight and my new beginning only two weeks away.

Having these little transitions seem helpful to me. Sometimes when you’re in a spot for a long time, you just follow a routine, and you resist change. A stagnancy might take over. All of this constant change recently has kept me on my toes and focused. It’s like I have these little goals and I’m hitting them, and by doing so, growing more confident.

Everything is feeling fresh, and I think I need to keep this in my mind after I move into my new place, so I don’t fall into a rabbit hole. I’m a rabbit hole kinda guy, so It’s easier said than done.

And to top it all off. I hit 174 pounds today. Only four more pounds from the goal weight when I started this journey.

So yes, I am a golden god today.

This was the least funny and most positive blog post I think I’ve ever written. You can teach an old dog new tricks! I’m just a giant cliche today, huh?
