Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired: Day 63

Posted by Edward Ernest | Dec 27, 2017 | Body Image, Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired | 0 |

Today was a huge day. First, it was the last day of my mini-goal, and I hit the 200,000 step goal and then some on my Fitbit, so I’m super proud of that right there. My legs are tired from all the walking and running, but I did it.

Second, with it being the second last day at my parent’s house, I stepped up onto the scale as I won’t have one after tomorrow, and it read 170 pounds. That was a pretty proud moment as well. In 63 days, I went from 195 pounds and thinking I had heart trouble, to hitting my weight goal of 170 pounds, eating way healthier, running a 5km race, and thinking much more clearly than I ever had before. If I can do this, then anyone can.

I really wanted to celebrate by eating a whole pizza, but instead, I took a nice bath.

Tomorrow is my last day in the house, as I’m moving into a snazzy new condo. Most of my day was organizing my move. What to get out of my storage unit, organizing a mover, etc.

Everyone hates moving, so I made it easier on myself by selling most of my things after I sold my house. I’m having one of those mail-order beds sent to me, and a new desk should be arriving on the day of the move as well. I’ve most likely tried to organize too many things on one day, but I like getting things over with fast.

As I typed that last bit, I think I just realized that maybe this isn’t a good idea, but at least I noticed it? Isn’t awareness half the battle? Now I just need to do something about it.

No need to be funny today. If that’s what you came for, then I’m sorry. Today was just a great day and a great way to end my time at my temporary home.

I feel strong heading into the next phase of my life and thanks to everyone who has been witness to the transformation and has been part of the positive change. AND to all of you that have been reading too, a big thanks for coming along on the journey.
