The Unbalanced Being of the Day | Michael Flynn
Another day, another member of the Trump administration jumping into a cauldron of hot molten lava. This time it’s Michael Flynn, the National Security Advisor, and the possibility that he lied about conversations about lifting sanctions against Russia before the President took office.
According to the Washington Post (Possibly fake news as they’ve actually been caught recently) Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor Michael Flynn did discuss the United States sanctions against Russia with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak a few weeks before Trump took the oath of the Oval Office. The FBI had already caught Michael Flynn phoning the Russian Ambassador to the United States several times on the day that President Obama rolled out sanctions against Russia in retaliation for its role in hacking the Democratic Party Emails during the election. But Flynn had routinely insisted that the conversations had nothing to do with the sanctions. However, the Washington Post has dug up confirmation that Flynn was indeed discussing the sanctions with the Russian Ambassador, and now Flynn’s spokesperson is now claiming that Flynn can’t recall whether he discussed the sanctions or not.
Flynn was already a controversial pick to be National Security Adviser to begin with and now we’re sure that his head may be on the chopping block. Many are saying that he violated the Logan Act and deserves to be dismissed. We’re sure Flynn is hearing it from all ends today and has to seriously be considering stepping down as somebody in this administration needs to take responsibility for something. Or is Flynn like the others? A narcissist that doesn’t give a care what other people think? No matter what, he knows what he did was wrong and seems to be back tracking like a 10 year old that’s been caught in a lie. Your parents know you lied, so just fess up and admit.
And that’s why Michael Flynn is The Unbalanced Being of the Day.
