Have you ever thought to yourself’ I have things under control?’ Yet, you don’t? Have you ever tried to say to your friends, ‘But he treats me a different way than you guys think?’ Have you ever wanted to be the one that fixed somebody that no one else could? Welcome to the new life of British Prime Minister, Theresa May.
Some in the British Press, like The Guardian, believe “She has been played for a sucker… She is deceiving herself if she thinks she can control Mr Trump… A line has been crossed in Washington. “The public gets it. Sir Mo [Farah] gets it. The prime minister needs to get it too… Britain must not be, or be seen as, a lackey of possibly the worst leader the US has ever elected.”
Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Corbyn has warned British Prime Minister Theresa May that she will be failing the country if she does not cancel American President Donald Trump’s state visit in the wake of his ban on people from seven Muslim-majority countries entering the U.S. ” Donald Trump should not be welcomed to Britain while he abuses our shared values with his shameful Muslim ban. Theresa May would be failing the British people if she does not postpone the state visit and condemn Trump’s actions in the clearest terms,” he said.
On top of this, there has been an online petition, signed by over 1 million British citizens to call on Theresa May to uninvite Donald Trump for an official state visit.
However, Theresa May has insisted she was “very happy” to invite Donald Trump on a state visit, amid anger and protests over his travel ban. The Prime Minister’s spokesman said she was looking forward to “hosting the President later this year”, despite more than one million people signing an online petition calling for the state visit to be scrapped.
As you can see, Theresa Day is between a rock and a hard place here. Torn between the economic prosperity of her country and doing what’s right, according to her critics. We’re sure she’s having a headache over this issue.
And that’s why Theresa Day is The Unbalanced Being of the Day.
