To the Asshole in my Life

All of us at what time or another have had a selfish human being entangled in our life. It may be a family member, a friend, or possibly a co-worker. The worst thing about relationships with selfish people or people with narcissistic tendencies is that they lack empathy.

If you’re battling depression, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, OCD, etc., you battle alone. When you put your trust/faith in others and let them have a peek inside of you, then in turn not get the understanding you need back, it hurts.

Trust is the glue of life, and when that’s broken, everything else just slips away. It’s hard to put trust back into people after you’ve been hurt and it thus makes it more difficult in the future as we know how our mental health issues have been treated in the past.

So for you this week, we have a piece of bad poetry dedicated to all the assholes that have come and gone in our lives, just for you. Enjoy!

If you or a loved one you know is showing signs of a Mental Health Disorder, whether it be Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Scizophrenia, Addiction, Body Dysmorphia etc., or maybe you just need someone to talk to, please do get the help you need.
