Welcome to our Toolbox!!
In this section, we have tools that we’ve found along the way. All the most helpful ones to make getting by better in life easier, a little smoother, and we hope that means better. Some are weighty and can help you make big life changes. Some are just simply helpful, little things. You will find everything from learning to master your trickiest emotions to mastering the mundanity of everyday life, and everything in between.
A tool from our “box” could be anything from our current favorite sketching app, anger management tricks, a meditation technique, – anything and everything we have found particularly profound or especially useful.
Different tools and teachers work for different kinds of people, at different points in each life. Also, various tools address various sorts of problems. Often a really big issue can be happening at multiple levels and layers (more on this soon, humans are complicated only makes sense right), so because of all this we include all the ones we can think of that have helped us in all kinds of ways. Consider the areas you might want growth or change or help and then take a look through our ever growing library. We hope that everyone can find the right one for the job!!
Have you found some extra amazing tools, we are always looking for new ways to grow and learn?
One things tools all have in common they don’t work if you don’t use them. Practice the ones that speak to you. For a lot of them once you grow in the awareness and the habit they become like second nature. It will be in your toolbox for life. Oh, and a tip don’t go crazy working on too many at once, better to try out one to a few at a time. Getting overwhelmed and giving up is never very fun.
Remember this is not about being perfect, not about mastering everything, it’s about making this crazy ride of life more enjoyable and steering our ships (as best we can) in the directions we’d like to go.
Happy Learning, Happy Sailing!
And stay tuned as we add more tools along the way.
The Tool I am choosing Gratitude Practice as the next addition to the Toolbox for three big reasons. The first because the end of the year is a good time for reflection, to take stock. Why not go out being thankful for the lessons learned and the blessings bestowed. My second is that this was the year […]

The Tool Just like we all have a shadow that follows us around when the light is right, each of us also holds a shadow of a more psychological nature. It’s also always around and waiting for the right conditions to make an appearance. The trick is accepting that the shadow is there, and knowing […]

No one minds the positive ones, but […]
The Tool Like many ancient pearls of wisdom that find their way to us toady, I have found mixed accounts of who we should credit for this amazing method that has stood the test of time. Was it a Sufi teacher? was it Buddha himself? or some other source? Well for our purposes it really […]
The Tool This tool is as easy as it gets. All you need is some anger that needs expressing (old or new, it works great for both), a small hand towel, and something firm and nonbreakable to snap at (think door jam or an open wall), and maybe a little privacy so you can really […]
The Trace Back technique is a tool in the category of Awareness. I mainly use this tool when it comes to my addictions; however, it’s useful for many other issues as well. First I’ll explain how I use it and then we’ll break down how you can use it in different situations. So who else […]
