Top 7 Ways To Tell If You’re Battling Bipolar Manic Episode

It’s sometimes challenging to figure out if you’re in the throws of Bipolar Mania. It takes a lot of experience to finally have the Eureka button in your head turn on and say; I’m acting like this way because I’m manic, let’s do something to try and stop it. Over the past couple of years, based on my own trial and error, with lots of error, I’ve come up with my Top 7 Ways To Tell If You’re Battling Bipolar Manic Episode, and hopefully it will help you as much it’s helped me.

People seem more annoying or frustrating than usual. “Everyone’s idiots!” frequently starts exiting my mouth, seemingly involuntarily. My reactions are all in the outrage category rather than the eye roll category. The Agitation is real. And common sense isn’t common, so even your local Starbucks is a landmine of confrontational possibilities.

Unresolved issues become repetitive thoughts, and it’s easy to become fixated or immersed in the problem or person rather than looking for resolutions.

Pressured Speech

It’s like speaking with no punctuation or spaces. Racing thoughts become public domain. Kinda like cocaine but for free and without needing nasal spray the day after it’s over.

Different Vocabulary

I tend to use harsh adjectives and long words with no punctuation that spiral into their own fractured thought processes. I believe these words sound crystal clear and well articulated, but some of these words just do not make sense.

Increased Sexual Prowess With Lower Standards And Heightened Self-Esteem

I almost posted a nude (that I deemed tasteful) on my fucking Instagram during my last episode. I also told an Ex I loved him (don’t) and showed a hot bartender 40 nudes (I wish this weren’t true lol) and then slept with him (obviously). Then made him Uber home an hour away after I was done with him. #TeamNoCallbacks

Reckless Spending

Foresight seems to take a dive around manic fits. Budget be gone. Feel good spending be plenty. I had to cut my credit card in half four years ago due to online spending. Fuck the internet sometimes.

Increased Sleeping and Eating

This one doesn’t need an explanation. LOLZ.

Hopefully this list of Top 7 Ways To Tell If You’re Battling Bipolar Manic Episode will help you get out of trouble before the trouble actually starts. Good Luck!
